Love is our natural state of being, yet love also fills us with melancholy.

As in the essay "On Transience" by Freud, in which he describes a conversation that takes place one summer day between Lou Salomé and young poet Rilke who suffers from an inability to enjoy the beauty of nature because it will disappear during the coming winter.

When we love, we in a way are reminded of the realness of entropy and impermanence. So how does one navigate through love?

It’s a complicated matter with various of different aspects to be considered. In this series I’m simply trying to capture the emotions,  I wrote 5 short poems, trying to hold on to love. I want to suspend the ephemerality of nature's beauty by the act of eco-printing and painting (with natural watercolour handmade from locally sourced wild flowers). I recycled the papers that contain my past personal datas and typed down my poems on them so I can be nostalgic.

I just want to sustain and extend love.
